Visit of Councilor Chantal Zeegers (Climate, Building, and Housing) to Tarnoc

We are excited to share that Tarnoc, together with housing corporation Woonstad Rotterdam, has received an innovation grant through the SES (Smart Energy Systems) program from the municipality of Rotterdam! 😁

As part of this grant, we welcomed councilor Chantal Zeegers (Councilor for Climate, Building, and Housing of the municipality of Rotterdam) for a working visit to our location at YES!Delft. During her visit, we presented our innovative heat pump technology, as well as our company Tarnoc. Together with our project partners Newton Energy Solutions and YES!Delft, we discussed the importance of these practical tests.

🔧 About the project:
With the SES project, we will make two monumental homes in Rotterdam all elctric. We are doing this with Tarnoc’s Turbine heat pump and Newton Energy Solutions’ hot water buffer (NEStore). These are pilot projects that will provide us with valuable insights into installation, costs, living comfort, energy storage, and smart monitoring.

During the visit, all attendees received a tour of our workshop and test lab, where Vincent Wijdeveld, founder and CEO of Tarnoc, explained our technology and test setups.

Thank you to all attendees for their involvement and interest:
